This upload includes two lists of LaTeX symbols. One of them includes 
standard LaTeX+AMS+several packages. The other includes everything in 
the first+Txfonts. As Txfonts package redefine many symbols and fonts, 
they look different. These lists are not rivals to Scott Pakin's 
admirable and comprehensive list of symbols, as mine include much 
smaller sets. Yet, they were written in Beamer class, and therefore 
easier to view ...

This package provides a large and sundry array of routines for the 
manipulation of strings. The routines are developed not only for 
cosmetic application, such as the changing of letter cases, selective 
removal of character classes, and string substitution, but also for 
programming application, such as character look-ahead applications, 
argument parsing, if-tests for various string conditions, etc. 

In Indien, Dänemark, Irland, Norwegen, ... sitzen nicht nur die kompetenteren Kinder (vgl. PISA), sondern eben auch informatisch gebildete Kolleginnen und Kollegen in den Gremien -- in Deutschland ist es, so scheint es mir jedenfalls, ist das anders.
